The Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Based on the Handicraft in Reducing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder among Hearing Impaired University Students

The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based on use handicrafts in reducing symptoms Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) among university students with hearing impairments. A total 12 impaired were randomly assigned either experimental group (n=6, M=19.47, SD=3.55) or control SD=3.55). Participants underwent fifteen sessions group-based ACT using handicrafts. researchers measured PTSD before, immediately, after, two months after therapy sessions. findings revealed that effectively reduced post-test follow-up assessments. These results indicate may be a valuable approach treating individuals PTSD.
